Friends of Snuffy announces plans for a Pet Food Pantry!

Dear Friends,

As we all know, the economy is struggling and times are hard.
Families are finding it difficult to make ends meet and some families are facing the possibility of having to surrender their beloved pet because of financial strain.
Shelters all over the nation are becoming overwhelmed.

In accordance with our mission to help keep shelters empty, Friends of Snuff will be sponsoring a Pet Food pantry on January 17th to help local families.

We are asking companies and individuals to help with this effort by donating dog and cat food, or if preferred, gift certificates and money.

Since Friends of Snuffy, Inc is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 charity, your donations are tax-deductible.

Please help out during this winter with whatever you can to help keep beloved pets in their homes with their loving families.

The date is tentatively set for mid-January. Stay tuned for more details!

Friends of Snuffy, Inc. is a New York State 501c3 charitable organization. This all volunteer group works to improve the lives of pets and stray animals through education programs, grants and direct funding.
Founded in 2006 by Mary Gormley in memory of her beloved dog "Snuffy", Friends of Snuffy started out as a grassroots organization that helps to keep shelters empty by providing an outreach program that helps to keep pets and their humans together by assisting with veterinary needs. Friends Of Snuffy also provides direct funding for veterinary care, funds adoption programs for dogs and cats and promotes community volunteer participation.
