This time, in the Daily News on June 28th!
"Their project is Friends of Snuffy (friendsofsnuffy.com), a nonprofit group named after Gormley's beloved Briard, which died from cancer at age 9.
Since 2006, the group has raised funds through benefit concerts and fund-raisers to help rebuild the Town of Shandaken dog shelter, in upstate Ulster County, just a few miles from Phoenicia, where Gormley grew up with horses, cats and a menagerie of other animals. The charity also provides direct funding for veterinary care, funds adoption programs for dogs and cats, and promotes community volunteer participation."
